Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 21, 2026
Last Updated: September 21, 2026
Welcome to SteelGate.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SteelGateUS.com, including its articles, reports, research, newsletters, interactive tools, market visualizations, simulations, educational experiences, comment features, and other services made available by SteelGate (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use portions of the Services that require your agreement.
These Terms should be read together with the SteelGate Privacy Policy.

-
related economic and technological developments.
SteelGate may publish original reporting, commentary, analysis, explainers, research, visualizations, simulations, software demonstrations, and links to external sources.
The Services may evolve over time.
2. Informational and Educational Purpose
Unless a particular feature expressly states otherwise, the Services are provided for informational, research, journalistic, and educational purposes only.
SteelGate is not acting through the Services as your:
-
investment adviser;
-
financial adviser;
-
broker;
-
dealer;
-
commodity trading adviser;
-
introducing broker;
-
futures commission merchant;
-
exchange;
-
clearing organization;
-
bank;
-
custodian;
-
money transmitter;
-
attorney;
-
accountant; or
-
tax adviser.
Nothing on SteelGate creates a fiduciary, advisory, brokerage, professional-client, or similar relationship between SteelGate and you.
3. No Investment, Trading, Legal, or Tax Advice
SteelGate frequently discusses securities, digital assets, commodities, derivatives, prediction markets, interest rates, companies, financial infrastructure, economic policy, blockchain networks, and other subjects that may affect investment decisions.
Such coverage does not constitute personalized investment advice or a recommendation that you buy, sell, hold, short, trade, stake, lend, borrow, hedge, or otherwise transact in any asset or financial product.
Statements such as market observations, scenarios, forecasts, models, opinions, valuations, hypothetical examples, or descriptions of investment strategies should not be interpreted as individualized recommendations.
You are responsible for evaluating information independently and, when appropriate, consulting qualified financial, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advisers.
4. Financial Markets Involve Risk
Financial products discussed by SteelGate may involve substantial risk.
Securities may lose value.
Digital assets can experience extreme volatility.
Derivatives may involve leverage and can create losses substantially greater than expected.
Perpetual futures, options, event contracts, prediction markets, decentralized-finance protocols, tokenized assets, and similar products may involve risks including:
-
leverage;
-
liquidation;
-
counterparty risk;
-
smart-contract failure;
-
custody risk;
-
liquidity risk;
-
oracle failure;
-
regulatory uncertainty;
-
cybersecurity vulnerabilities;
-
market manipulation;
-
execution risk;
-
platform failure; and
-
total loss of capital.
Nothing appearing on SteelGate should be interpreted as a representation that a product, market, investment, technology, or strategy is appropriate for you.
5. Accuracy, Completeness, and Timeliness
SteelGate seeks to produce informative and well-researched material, but financial markets, laws, regulations, technology, companies, APIs, protocols, products, and economic conditions change rapidly.
SteelGate does not warrant that any article, data point, quotation, chart, calculation, research conclusion, software output, price, link, regulatory description, or other information is complete, accurate, current, or free from error.
Information may become outdated after publication.
An article's publication date, update date, and source material should therefore be considered when evaluating it.
SteelGate may correct, revise, supplement, update, or remove content at any time without obligation to preserve an earlier version.
6. Market Prices and Data
SteelGate may display or reference information concerning securities, commodities, digital assets, derivatives, currencies, interest rates, indices, prediction markets, or other markets.
Such information may originate from SteelGate, exchanges, APIs, publishers, blockchain networks, market-data vendors, third-party websites, or other sources.
Market information may be:
-
live;
-
delayed;
-
cached;
-
estimated;
-
simulated;
-
indicative;
-
derived from another instrument;
-
temporarily unavailable; or
-
incorrect.
Displayed prices should not be treated as executable quotations unless explicitly identified as such by the regulated or third-party venue responsible for execution.
SteelGate does not guarantee that a price visible on the website represents the price at which a user could actually transact.
7. Interactive Tools and Educational Visualizations
SteelGate may make interactive tools available for purposes such as demonstrating:
-
blockchain operation;
-
tokenized assets;
-
market infrastructure;
-
trading mechanics;
-
perpetual futures;
-
oracles;
-
portfolio behavior;
-
financial concepts; or
-
other technological systems.
These tools may simplify real-world systems for educational purposes.
A visualization or simulation should not be interpreted as a complete representation of actual market, regulatory, technical, tax, accounting, or economic conditions.
8. Simulated and Hypothetical Trading
Where SteelGate provides a simulated trading interface, hypothetical portfolio, paper-trading system, demonstration account, calculator, backtest, or similar experience, no assumption should be made that simulated results could have been achieved through actual trading.
Hypothetical results have significant limitations.
Among other things, a simulation may not fully reproduce:
-
market liquidity;
-
slippage;
-
transaction fees;
-
spreads;
-
order-book depth;
-
execution delays;
-
partial fills;
-
volatility;
-
market impact;
-
financing costs;
-
liquidation procedures;
-
margin requirements;
-
taxes;
-
operational failures;
-
emotional decision-making; or
-
other circumstances affecting actual investors.
Past, modeled, simulated, or hypothetical performance does not guarantee future results.
Unless SteelGate expressly states otherwise for a particular regulated integration, SteelGate simulations do not execute real trades or custody user funds.
9. Third-Party Financial and Trading Platforms
SteelGate may discuss, display information from, link to, or integrate with financial institutions, cryptocurrency platforms, exchanges, derivatives venues, wallets, prediction markets, data services, or other third parties.
SteelGate does not become the operator, broker, exchange, custodian, issuer, or counterparty of a third-party service merely because that service is mentioned, linked, analyzed, or technically integrated into SteelGate.
If you choose to transact using an external provider, your relationship with that provider is governed by the provider's agreements, disclosures, eligibility requirements, regulatory status, fee schedules, and privacy practices.
SteelGate is not responsible for transactions executed through third-party systems.
10. APIs, Wallets, Credentials, and Sensitive Information
Some demonstrations or future integrations may interact with APIs, wallets, accounts, or external applications.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
Unless a SteelGate feature expressly requires otherwise and provides specific security instructions, you should never submit:
-
wallet seed phrases;
-
private cryptographic keys;
-
exchange passwords;
-
banking passwords;
-
brokerage passwords;
-
Social Security numbers;
-
government identification numbers; or
-
other highly sensitive credentials
through a SteelGate webpage, comment, form, or interactive tool.
SteelGate is not responsible for losses resulting from a user's voluntary disclosure of credentials to an unauthorized party or through a feature not designed to receive them.
11. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Content
SteelGate may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, software automation, or algorithmic systems to support research, monitoring, drafting, summarization, categorization, analysis, editing, search, software development, or other parts of the publishing process.
Automated systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or misleading outputs.
The presence of AI-assisted research or content therefore does not eliminate the need for readers to evaluate primary sources and independently verify information before relying on it for consequential decisions.
SteelGate may use human editorial review where appropriate but does not represent that every statement appearing on the Services has been independently verified by a human.
12. Primary Sources and External Research
SteelGate frequently links to regulators, government agencies, companies, financial institutions, technical documentation, research organizations, academic sources, and other publishers.
These links are provided to support research and allow readers to investigate underlying materials.
A link does not necessarily imply endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, or agreement with the third party.
External material may change, move, become unavailable, or contain errors outside SteelGate's control.
13. Editorial Content, Opinions, and Forward-Looking Analysis
Some SteelGate material may contain analysis, interpretation, opinion, scenarios, forecasts, or forward-looking statements.
These statements inherently involve uncertainty.
Actual developments may differ materially from expectations described in an article or research report.
Unless expressly identified otherwise, views expressed by an individual author are the author's views and should not automatically be interpreted as the views of any company, regulator, institution, or person discussed in the article.
14. Sponsorships, Affiliates, and Commercial Relationships
SteelGate may in the future publish sponsored content, use affiliate links, participate in referral arrangements, display advertisements, or enter commercial relationships with third parties.
Where required by law or appropriate for transparency, SteelGate will seek to disclose material commercial relationships associated with relevant content.
The existence of a commercial relationship does not constitute a guarantee regarding the quality, safety, profitability, regulatory status, or suitability of the relevant product or service.
Users remain responsible for their own decisions.
15. Eligibility
You may access publicly available informational content subject to applicable law.
Certain interactive features, accounts, simulations, financial-market functionality, or other portions of the Services may require you to be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.
By using an age-restricted feature, you represent that you satisfy the applicable eligibility requirement.
16. Accounts
If SteelGate allows you to create an account, you are responsible for:
-
providing accurate information;
-
protecting your login credentials;
-
restricting unauthorized access to your account;
-
maintaining a current email address; and
-
notifying SteelGate if you believe your account has been compromised.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account to the extent permitted by law.
SteelGate may suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, security threats, or material violations of these Terms.
17. Comments and User-Generated Content
SteelGate may allow users to submit comments, feedback, messages, or other content (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of intellectual-property rights you hold in your User Content.
By submitting User Content through a public SteelGate feature, you grant SteelGate a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, reformat, and technically modify that content as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, promote, archive, and display the Services.
This license does not give SteelGate ownership of your User Content.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your User Content and that your submission does not unlawfully violate the rights of another person.
18. Comment Moderation
SteelGate may, but is not required to, review or moderate User Content.
SteelGate may remove, restrict, hide, edit for technical formatting, or disable User Content that we reasonably believe:
-
violates these Terms;
-
infringes intellectual-property rights;
-
contains unlawful material;
-
is threatening or harassing;
-
contains malware;
-
constitutes spam;
-
impersonates another person;
-
contains unauthorized private information;
-
attempts fraud or manipulation;
-
interferes with site operations; or
-
otherwise creates material risk to SteelGate or its users.
Moderation decisions may be made manually or with automated assistance.
19. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use SteelGate to:
-
violate applicable law;
-
engage in fraud or deceptive conduct;
-
distribute malware or malicious code;
-
attack, disable, overload, or interfere with the Services;
-
attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
-
circumvent security controls;
-
probe the website for vulnerabilities without authorization;
-
scrape or harvest personal information;
-
impersonate another person or organization;
-
submit content that infringes another person's rights;
-
manipulate comment or engagement systems;
-
use automated systems in a manner that places unreasonable load on SteelGate infrastructure;
-
bypass technical access restrictions;
-
copy or republish substantial portions of SteelGate content without authorization;
-
remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices; or
-
use SteelGate content to create or train a competing commercial content database, machine-learning dataset, or automated publication service except with SteelGate's written permission or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Ordinary search-engine indexing, accessibility tools, personal research, and other activity permitted by law are not prohibited merely because automation is involved.
20. SteelGate Intellectual Property
Except for material expressly identified as belonging to another party, SteelGate and its licensors own or control rights in the Services, including original:
-
articles;
-
research reports;
-
graphics;
-
visualizations;
-
software interfaces;
-
site designs;
-
photographs;
-
branding;
-
logos;
-
databases;
-
layouts;
-
compilations; and
-
other original content.
Subject to these Terms, SteelGate grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Services for lawful personal, educational, journalistic, or internal business research.
No ownership interest is transferred to you.
21. Reasonable Quotation and Linking
SteelGate welcomes ordinary linking to its articles.
Reasonable quotation, citation, commentary, criticism, education, scholarship, news reporting, and other uses protected by applicable copyright law remain subject to those laws.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to eliminate rights that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.
Commercial republication or systematic copying of substantial SteelGate content requires prior written authorization unless otherwise permitted by law.
22. Third-Party Intellectual Property
SteelGate articles may reference or display names, trademarks, logos, screenshots, quotations, data, or other material associated with third parties for journalistic, educational, analytical, identification, or commentary purposes.
Third-party trademarks and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
Reference to a company or brand does not imply sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.
23. Copyright Complaints
If you believe material available through SteelGate infringes copyright or another intellectual-property right, please contact SteelGate and provide:
-
identification of the protected work;
-
identification and location of the allegedly infringing material;
-
your contact information;
-
an explanation of the basis for your claim;
-
a statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is unauthorized; and
-
any other information reasonably necessary to investigate the claim.
Copyright notices should be directed to:
Nothing in this section represents that SteelGate has appointed or registered a statutory copyright agent unless such registration has actually been completed.
24. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also subject to the SteelGate Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how SteelGate handles information associated with website visits, newsletters, comments, accounts, interactive tools, cookies, service providers, and related functionality.
25. Third-Party Websites and Services
SteelGate is not responsible for the availability, security, accuracy, policies, conduct, services, products, transactions, or content of third parties.
Your use of a third-party website or platform is at your own discretion and subject to the third party's own agreements.
You should review relevant terms, privacy policies, risk disclosures, fee schedules, and regulatory information before using an external service.
26. Availability of the Services
SteelGate does not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability.
Features may become unavailable because of:
-
maintenance;
-
technical failures;
-
software errors;
-
hosting interruptions;
-
cyberattacks;
-
third-party outages;
-
market-data failures;
-
API changes;
-
regulatory developments; or
-
circumstances outside SteelGate's reasonable control.
SteelGate may modify, suspend, discontinue, restrict, or replace any feature at any time.
27. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
STEELGATE DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND RELIABILITY.
STEELGATE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:
-
INFORMATION WILL ALWAYS BE ACCURATE OR CURRENT;

THE SERVICES WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION;

-
THIRD-PARTY DATA WILL BE ACCURATE;
-
A PARTICULAR INVESTMENT OR TECHNOLOGY WILL PERFORM AS DESCRIBED;
-
A SIMULATION WILL REPRODUCE REAL-WORLD RESULTS; OR
-
USE OF THE SERVICES WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR FINANCIAL, BUSINESS, OR OTHER OUTCOME.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
28. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEELGATE AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES.
THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSSES ARISING FROM:
-
INVESTMENT OR TRADING DECISIONS;
-
LOSS OF MONEY OR DIGITAL ASSETS;
-
MARKET MOVEMENTS;
-
LIQUIDATION;
-
RELIANCE ON CONTENT;

DATA ERRORS;

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES;
-
SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS;

CYBERSECURITY INCIDENTS;

LOST DATA;
-
LOST PROFITS;
-
LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES; OR
-
INABILITY TO ACCESS THE SERVICES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEELGATE'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
(A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO STEELGATE FOR THE RELEVANT SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY; OR
(B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
29. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SteelGate and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, contributors, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from:
-
your unlawful use of the Services;
-
your material violation of these Terms;
-
User Content you submit;
-
your infringement of another person's rights; or
-
fraud, abuse, or intentional misconduct associated with your account or use of SteelGate.
This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify SteelGate for conduct for which such indemnification is prohibited by law.
30. Suspension and Termination
SteelGate may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to an account or interactive feature where reasonably necessary to address:
-
a violation of these Terms;
-
unlawful conduct;
-
fraud;
-
abuse;
-
security risks;
-
infringement;
-
material disruption of the Services; or
-
legal requirements.
Termination does not eliminate provisions that by their nature should survive, including intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related provisions.
31. Changes to the Services
SteelGate may introduce, modify, redesign, replace, or discontinue portions of the Services.
New features may be subject to additional terms.
If additional terms conflict with these Terms for a particular feature, the feature-specific terms will control for that feature.
32. Changes to These Terms
SteelGate may update these Terms periodically.
The date at the top identifies the latest version.
Material changes may be communicated through the website or another reasonable method where appropriate.
Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law permits otherwise.
Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
33. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [INSERT STATE OF STEELGATE'S PRINCIPAL PLACE OF BUSINESS], without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
34. Venue
Subject to any rights that cannot legally be waived, legal proceedings arising from these Terms or the Services shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in [INSERT COUNTY AND STATE], and the parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from pursuing a claim in another forum where applicable law gives that party a non-waivable right to do so.
35. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed if necessary.
The remaining provisions will remain in effect.
36. No Waiver
SteelGate's failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.
A waiver in one situation does not constitute a waiver in another situation.
37. Assignment
You may not transfer or assign your rights under these Terms without SteelGate's consent where consent is legally permitted to be required.
SteelGate may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, change of control, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
38. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable feature-specific terms, constitute the agreement between you and SteelGate concerning the Services and supersede prior terms addressing the same subject matter.
